Experienced A or B level Automotive Technician

A well-deserved retirement for a 30 year technician is forcing us to search for our next long-term technician.

This auto mechanic position earns a competitive base salary and total pay of $50,000 to $100,000 including commissions for flagged hours. ABOUT YOU

Some people make great technicians, and we believe talented technicians can do just about anything they set their mind to. Few other professions offer the ability to utilize problem solving skills as well as working with your hands. It's like a grown-up and more involved Lego set, one that involves some of the most beautiful and fun daily driving cars in town. From solving challenges like correcting malfunctions in a computer controlled electro-mechanical system to the true "nuts and bolts" work of brake, suspension, and full engine services and repairs, you'll have interesting work to keep you engaged and busy.

You'll receive your own computer and tablet loaded with AllData, Identifix, various parts programs, and WiFi connection; We're adamant about providing our technicians with the proper support, training and tools necessary so you can perform at your peak. You'll have 3 dedicated hoists to work from and will enjoy our modern, clean, and safe facility plus Shop-Ware, our interactive shop management system for work orders and DVI's that allows us all to be paperless. No clipboards or handwritten notes to decipher. Our employees stay with us for the long term because of our great incentives, easy to calculate pay plans, and true work-life balance. We are an 8-5 Monday to Friday shop, no evenings or weekends!

If you have experience with European vehicles, that's a plus, but it's not mandatory. There is a misconception that a good technician can only work on what they're used to. We believe if you're naturally curious and love problem solving, we can fully train you to work on all the vehicles we service.

Our average technician tenure is 20 years making this opportunity a rare one; We don't have a revolving door and don't intend to, but one of our long-term technicians is retiring after spending 31 great years at ArborMotion. You'll get the benefit of learning the vehicles we service (if you don't know them already) from career technicians and learning from a lifetime of technician knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

• Experience with diagnosing electronic and mechanical issues
• Willingness to learn
• Experience with European vehicles is a plus but certainly not mandatory
