The Program Analyst (Federal Acquisition) is a consulting associate that supports large, complex Information Technology (IT) projects for homeland security clients. Ideal candidates bring 2 years of experience in acquisition support and process improvement to help the Federal government acquire innovative solutions to meet emergency manager needs. They help the government acquire services, write statements of work, and track spending to help meet mission goals.
Hybrid Work Environment: Arc Aspicio is currently working in a hybrid work environment where employees at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and, as approved, remotely on a part-time basis. Candidates must live in the Washington, DC area on their start date, ready to work with their team.
Responsibilities
- Provide program management support, including procurement support, contract administration, and financial management for a large complex portfolio of projects
- Support Federal government projects, including in homeland security and emergency management, to deliver technology solutions that transform services to citizens
- Apply Federal government regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results
- Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
- Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives
- Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience in a consulting project for the Federal Government supporting large programs
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Federal Government acquisition lifecycle
- Experience in acquisition programs, statements of work, process improvement, and supporting programs in acquiring services and IT solutions
- Ability to design and implement new processes and tracking systems for contract and financial tracking on large complex IT programs
- Experience collaborating with senior-level clients and developing high-quality deliverables in a complex stakeholder and technical environment
- Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and interest in leading deliverables and workstreams
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
- Experience and technology experience with Microsoft Office products and use of collaboration tools (SharePoint preferred)
- Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
- Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) / ability to obtain a security clearance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
