Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a pharmacist to dispense prescription and over the counter medication to customers or health professionals
- Assemble medicines for prescriptions and provide information about medications
- labeling and packaging prescriptions
- Adheres to infection control procedures
- Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
- Performs all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Adheres to and takes any/all scheduled breaks
- Completes all required training
- Conforms with and supports quality assurance and improvement processes
