ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Wholesale/Correspondent Funding; Resolve funding escalations for closing/purchases and work with internal teams/management for resolution.
- Closely monitor pipeline of outstanding trailing final documents, including but not limited to recorded mortgage, final title policy, and recorded assignment for completeness and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and problem solving to resolve outstanding exceptions for final certification by working with varies channels/entities to obtain or correct documents as needed.
- Report weekly to management on pipeline activity.
- Delivering documents to vendors, document custodians, and investors within established timelines and according to guidelines while working within multiple systems
- Create and deliver complete electronic credit and closing files to investors for due diligence review, within multiple internal and external systems
- Coordinate with internal departments to clear outstanding custodian and/or investor exceptions
- Register MIN numbers timely
- Complete transfer of servicing and/or beneficiary (TOS/TOB) within regulation established timeframe
- Coordinate monthly and annual MERS audits.
- Submit FHA / VA loans timely for insuring.
- Monitor exception reports related to Government insuring and drive to resolution.
- Understanding of policies, laws, and regulations
- Additional related duties may be assigned, as required
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)
- Minimum of 3 year of mortgage operations experience required
- Experience delivering files to investors and satisfying investor exceptions
- Must be detail oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Current knowledge of lending compliance and regulations is a plus
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
