What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Bartender position at ARC Hotel DC?
You will be responsible for drink service at hotel banquet functions. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will perform duties and responsibilities as a Banquet Bartender within our Banquet and Event environment for groups, meetings or social events as necessary.
- Prepare, set up, stock, take down, clean and provide quality beverage products, adhering to all presentation standards.
- Responsible for bar service setup and break down.
- Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships.
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Food and Beverage items throughout the event or function.
- Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments in line with our purpose.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be TIPS Certified.
- Must posses a current Food Handler card.
