Arc of Onondaga is actively hiring for multiple positions in our Employment Options division!
Employment Skills Coach - provide pre-employment services to people supported by Arc, transporting them to community-based work sites and assisting with skill development.
Employment Specialist- provide job coaching to people receiving services from Arc including promoting job retention, motivation, inclusion and career planning.
Employment Consultant - support people receiving ACCES-VR services in working towards/achieving employment. Develop relationships within the community to assist in finding opportunities for people you support. *this position has a sign-on bonus! *
Job Requirements Range:
- Valid NYS driver's license
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree in Human Services, Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling or related field
- 0-2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably in a supported employment setting
- Alternatively, Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and enrollment in Master's Degree Program (Employment Consultant Requirement only)
- Alternatively, Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counselling or related field (Employment Consultant Requirement only)
