Role description:

The Environmental division of Arcadis is seeking a Survey Technician to support remedial environmental and construction projects based out of the East offices in NY, PA, and NJ and working throughout the US.

Role accountabilities:

This full time position will work 40-60 hours per week and will require constant travel to field sites. Home location is flexible due to 100% travel.

• Field activities at environmental or construction sites to include survey stake out, construction stakeout, and topographic surveys using survey grade equipment
• Working as a team member and independently
• Light construction equipment operation in support of remedial activities including earth moving, pipe fitting, digging trenches May be required
• Participating in other aspects of environmental /construction activities
• Good technical skills; behavioral traits of process oriented, analytical, problem solver and detail oriented. Must be able to work in all weather conditions and terrain environment
• Willingness to travel

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of survey and construction survey experience, proficiency with survey equipment (Data Collection software, GPS equipment, Total Station & Robotics)
• AAS Applied Associates or related years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience survey and construction survey experience
• Skills mechanical or technical skills with light construction equipment operation
• Certifications 40 hour OSHA HazWoper,1st Aid, CPR, TWIC
