Key Account Technical Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Search for new clients who will benefit from capital equipment purchase(s).
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Develop relationships with executives in small and large companies to develop potential business_
• Capitalize on knowledge to automotive, medical, aerospace, machine tool industries, and/or learn the intricate details to each
• Persuade clients that a product best satisfies their needs in terms to quality, price and delivery_
• Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client an d company needs.
• Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
• Arrange and carry out product training_
• Analyze costs and sales_
• Prepare reports tor ARCH Global Precision and keep customer records
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects_
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. Produce productive leads from these events.
• Make technical presentations and demonstrate how the product meets client
• Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team_
• Willingness to travel 40-60 percent of the time_

Education and/or Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree and 24 years of experience in the field or in a related area

Language Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial repots, and legal documents_ Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community_ Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format_ Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards to directors_

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations_

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety to concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists_ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
