Summary:


  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as preparation of payrolls, hiring of new employees, personnel, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.
  • Performs recruitment activities, arranges background/drug testing through our TPA and evaluates candidates for select positions at business unit.
  • In addition to handling any record changes and/or new hires, terminations.
  • Maintains payroll records, employee files and company documents related to same.
  • Maintains I-9 records and all documents pertaining to I-9’s.
  • Prepare and consolidate month end, quarterly and year-end accounting and HR reports. Assist with yearend audits for 401k plans, workers compensation reporting and accounting needs.
  • Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
  • Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Prepares activities reports for guidance of management.
  • Maintains contact with employees and other outside vendors. Works with customers and customer service.
  • Helps employees with ERP system and helps improve accuracy
  • Organizes meetings and office events
  • Training employees in safety, compliance training, and keep all training records
  • Understand and train employees on company policies.
  • Enters orders, starts jobs, order supplies, pulls material, and keeps inventory levels for customers.
  • Assists controller in day to day activities and end of the month activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
