Summary:
- Position Summary:
- The Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Customer Service, Purchasing, Inside Sales, and Shipping and Receiving. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage people, processes, and navigate an ERP system to ensure operational efficiency and superior customer service.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Management: Oversee the Customer Service team to ensure prompt and effective handling of customer inquiries, complaints, and orders/order entry.
- Purchasing Management: Manage the Purchasing team to maintain optimal inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Shipping and Receiving Management: Supervise the Shipping and Receiving department to ensure accurate and timely shipment and receipt of goods.
- ERP System Navigation: Utilize ERP systems to manage and monitor department performance, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, develop strategies for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, coaching, and development to department teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each department to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any interdepartmental issues.
- Qualifications:
- Experience in a managerial role overseeing multiple areas.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and ability to navigate and utilize these systems effectively.
- Proven track record of process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
