Electrical Studies Manager - any U.S. ADM location
Position Summary:
The Electrical Systems Studies Manager position is part of the Electrical group and will be tasked within the North American geographic region. This Manager will apply technical knowledge and expertise in support of electrical systems studies including short-circuit, arc flash, equipment protection, and coordination studies.
Successful candidate will have strong understanding of and experience with electrical distribution equipment, service transformers, switchgear, switchboard, motor control centers, distribution system layout, and lighting.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain study program and metrics to show compliance and track progress. (approx.. 500 studies)
Track and report quarterly/yearly budgetary projections and spend for electrical studies
Organize and maintain all electrical studies for ADM NA (North America) locations
Build electrical study scope packages, review proposals, generate POs (purchase orders) for engineering contractors
Manage engineering contractors by assigning locations, training, and ensuring contractors meet IEEE and ADM standards. Review all deliverables and submit feedback as required
Maintain and keep electrical study program updated to current IEEE guidelines. Program consists of software standards and reporting guidelines
Communicate frequently with BU (business unit) leadership and local management regarding electrical studies
Provide engineering support for assistance in remediation project work
Assist with developing, documenting, and continuous improving of electrical safety program
Manage SKM power systems software annual license agreement and ensure license keys are up to date and network keys remain active for remote users

Required Qualifications:
Electrical power distribution and design experience
National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E knowledge
Working knowledge of common electrical systems drawings and documentation, such as electrical plans and elevations, conduit and cable schedules, one-line diagrams, MCC and switchgear layouts and details, electrical panel schedules, wiring and motor-control diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, lighting plans, specification sheets, and motor lists
Strong understanding of time current curves and coordination analysis
Knowledge of the NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, ANSI, IEEE 1584, and OSHA requirements in relation to electrical power systems studies
Experience using written and verbal communication skills effectively in a professional environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency with the use of SKM PowerTools software
Preferred Qualifications:
BSEE, Journeyman, or Master Electrician license is preferred but not required
