This is a full-time, hourly level position.
Job Duties:
Assist the Dry Dock Lead repairing inland river barges and boats. Weld existing damaged steel to make watertight, cut and remove damaged sections of steel, fit new material, and weld in watertight. Additional duties as required including various welding and cutting projects, general labor and housekeeping duties. Provide leadership and instruction with guidance from the Dry Dock Lead in supervising the welding crew.

Required Qualifications:
- Leadership and teamwork.
- Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures.
- Must be able to use an oxygen/acetylene cutting torch.
- Stick welding experience – able to assist in training other in stick welding.
- Assist Dry Dock Lead on various welding and fabrication projects.
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and encourage others to do the same.
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed.
- Fabrication experience.
- Assist Dry Dock Lead and management in supervising crew.
- Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
- Crane and other equipment operation.
- Willing to learn and help repair and maintain inland river vessels and equipment.
- Dry dock operations, functions as well as other various equipment with training.
