Cable Puller Team Lead

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Fiber Puller Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecommunications, specifically in fiber optic installation, and will lead a crew equipped with their own reel trailer and puller equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a crew of fiber pullers in the installation and maintenance of fiber optic networks.
• Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute installation projects efficiently.
• Ensure that installations are completed according to specifications and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain reel trailers, puller equipment, and other tools required for fiber optic installation.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to crew members as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on fiber optic pulling and installation.
• 5 years leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and coordinate a project and team.
• Experience operating reel trailers and puller equipment.
• Proficiency in fiber optic installation techniques and best practices.
• Strong understanding of telecommunication systems and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Certification in fiber optic splicing or related field.
• Experience with fusion splicing and OTDR testing.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Note: Must have own Reel Trailer and puller.

• 1099 contract
• Paid daily

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
