Archon Resources is currently looking for a Jr. Cybersecurity Analyst to join one of our clients located in Tulsa, OK. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and salary will depend upon experience.
Job Description:
We are looking for an entry-level motivated security analyst. Our client is proud to monitor HIPPA compliance for several companies. Monitoring and analyzing their HIPPA data are the main functions of this role. We take pride in our abilities and are excited to add a new member to the team!
The main functions of this job will be to monitor, analyze, and report on information from a wide range of sources.
Responsibilities:
- Compliance Monitoring and Reporting.
- Conducting vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses.
- Remotely Monitor Computer Systems and Networks for suspicious activity.
- Analyzing and Interpreting security data to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Support and Troubleshoot Customer Issues.
Requirements:
- General IT knowledge.
- Network and Helpdesk experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of Remote Access Systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance is preferred (not required).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
In addition to technical skills, a cybersecurity analyst must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. They must stay up to date with the latest security threats, HIPPA guidelines, and general cybersecurity trends.
