From the Last Frontier to the Land of Lincoln, We (Andy and Dilan ) moved from Alaska in June of 2023 and opened up Arctic Wolf Alehouse in West Dundee, IL. with a vision to embark our culinary experience to bring mouthwatering dishes and refreshing drinks. Our goal is to create a vibrant , relaxed , and welcoming atmoshpere for customers and our employees.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a creative approach to menu planning.
**Duties:**
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop and create innovative menus that meet quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs effectively
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events and banquet functions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
**Experience:**
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and culinary techniques
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
- Proficiency in food service management, including menu planning, costing, and inventory control
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Experience in banquet operations is a plus
