- Process and coordinate daily activities in Client billings and Accounts Receivables in accordance with contract terms.
- Prepare Accounts Payable transactions, to include vendor ACH payments and validate for posting.
- Collects and reconciles electronic timesheets. Communicates with PMs and others on missing/incorrect timesheets.
- Process bi-weekly payroll, using third-party payroll provider.
- Review and process employee expense reports for timely reimbursements.
- Assist with annual W-2 and 1099 reporting.
- Completes quarterly and periodic tax, federal and state government report submissions.
- Maintain general ledger, performing analysis and completion of periodic balance sheet reconciliations, and any associated journal entries.
- Maintains accounting records and audit papers and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Participates as needed in special department projects.
- Help foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
- Ideal to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in working for a small to mid-size federal government contractor.
- Experience working daily within a DCAA compliant ERP system.
- Experience with Deltek Time & Expense and Costpoint preferred.
- Experience with payroll and third-party processing systems.
- Good expertise in MS Excel is desired.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting processes.
- Highly developed organizational skills, sound business judgment, excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to operate independently.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required, or a combination of experience.
