The Real Estate Analyst will support the Real Estate Department in a range of activities including lease administration, location strategy, reporting and financial/budgeting development. This position will provide analytical support for various real estate projects, offering insights into potential financial impacts, cost-saving opportunities, and strategic considerations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Analysis Data Reporting
- Assist with compiling, organizing, and analyzing real estate data using internal and external resources to
- Prepare initial site and market analysis including demographic reports, maps, market research, competitive landscape, and other general site information.
- Collect, manage and analyze competitive market data for business units and site locations to provide support and insight to management team.
- Facilitate data-driven decision making, enabling the executive team to optimize its real estate holdings for maximum financial benefit and strategic advantage – identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to inform executive team.
- Portfolio Performance analytics. Implement advanced analytics to evaluate the performance of the real estate portfolio, utilizing key performance indicators and financial metrics to optimize portfolio performance.
- Review down trending locations data (sales, traffic, vacancies, etc.) to ensure real estate strategy for each location is sound.
- Establish a robust data management infrastructure ensuring the accuracy, accessibility and analytical usability of real estate data to empower data driven decision making at all organizational levels
- Benchmark and comparative analytics. Implement advanced benchmarking studies, utilizing comparative analytics against industry standards to identify performance gaps and inform strategic adjustments for continuous improvement and innovation
- Reporting and Presentations – prepare comprehensive reports and presentations, communicating key findings and recommendations to senior management for informed decision making.
- This position will also support real estate’s accounting needs by detailed analysis and reconciliation of real estate expenses. Monthly this role will also assist in expense variance analysis to ensure accruals are correctly stated
- This position will interact with other functional areas, including Finance/FP&A, IT, Legal, business executives, landlords, architects, general contractors, etc. and will be entrusted with high-dollar and high-volume disbursement activities.
- Budgeting. Apply budgeting methodologies, integrating financial modeling with budget planning to create real estate budgets
- RE Analyst will leverage their analytical expertise in optimizing the strategic use of real estate assets within Arhaus corporate framework by evaluating and managing financial analysis and providing insights to support informed decision making
- Develop budgeting and cash flow projections using excel
- Contribute to cost-savings initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to align real estate strategies with overall business objectives
- Tenant Allowance
- In coordination with finance department, assist in the preparation of financial models and Pro-Formas
- Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience and responsibility in operations, facilities, construction, or other related fields.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Arhaus experience a plus.
