Aria of Brookfield is seeking a Fulltime Regional, Registered and Certified Dietitian for our skilled nursing facility.
Registered Dietician Qualifications:
- Preferably, holds a Master's Degree from an accredited institution with a major in foods, nutrition, or dietetics, and successful completion of an internship or equivalent experience
- Must be Registered in the American Dietetic Association and or Licensed Dietitian
- Self-starter, skilled at communication, and who is a positive motivator.
- Someone who demonstrates a genuine interest in dietary care of the aged, chronically ill, and traumatically injured.
- Have the ability to work congenially with others and under direction.
Registered Dietician Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes and conducts dietetic education for staff, residents, and families
- Oversees Menu Planning
- Develops and implements a nutritional plan based on an assessment of nutritional needs.
- Evaluates and reports results of nutrition appropriately.
- Provides appropriate counseling to individuals and families.
- Evaluate and instructs on nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection, and economics.
- Communicates with clinician regarding patients' progress and treatment goals.
- oversees monthly weights in building
- participates in risk meetings
- completion of MDS and PCC
- Maintains confidentially and safety of patient clinical records.
