RREPORTING TO: Managing Director

ABOUT ARIBIO: AriBio is a rapidly growing clinical stage biotech firm dedicated to developing treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's. Our commitment to innovative, polypharmacological approaches targets the complex pathophysiology of these diseases. We are in the midst of a global Phase 3 program for Alzheimer's disease and are advancing multiple earlier-stage compounds. We seek a motivated and experienced Executive Assistant who shares our passion for making a meaningful impact on patient lives in a dynamic environment.


JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Program Manager to support our strategic initiatives in the neurodegenerative disease space. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive our programs forward and ensure alignment with corporate goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects in the pharmaceutical, consulting, or investment banking industries and demonstrate a passion for advancing innovative therapies in the biotech space.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of various projects across corporate strategy, business development, medical affairs, KOL management, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (including KOLs, partners, and investors) to ensure project alignment and timely progress.
  • Monitor project performance, budget, and resource allocation, providing updates to senior management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of asset development strategy and assist in grant application efforts.
  • Lead conference participation, coordinate publications, networking, and event planning to enhance the company’s presence and collaboration within the industry.
  • Assist in corporate presentations, reporting, and business development initiatives.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Provide support for global clinical trials, ensuring smooth coordination between teams and adherence to timelines.
  • Work collaboratively to support both scientific and business development goals.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES:


  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in related subjects required; advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or in related role focused on managing and organizing projects.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience in project management within a clinical or corporate development setting is highly preferred.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures, instructions, etc., to write reports, to use logic and data to solve problems, to assess needs with independence, judgment, and discretion.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with ClickUp, a plus.
  • A passion for healthcare and an understanding of the challenges in neurodegenerative disease drug development.
  • Korean language proficiency (written and oral), a strong plus.

WORK LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS


  • This position is primarily on-site and is located in our San Diego, California office
  • Remote work is currently available one day per week and may be coordinated with your supervisor
  • Domestic and international travel will be required from time to time (approximately 10-25%)

PAY TRANSPARENCY


The expected salary for candidates for this role is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00. The final salary offered to the successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
