PURPOSE:
The Employment Advisor will prepare applicants for their position with Arion Care. The Employment Advisor will ensure the applicant meets the company's requirements for employment including training, background screening, collection of documents and paperwork, and orientation of policies and procedures. The Employment Advisor will serve as a liaison between the applicant and the management team as they navigate the hiring process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must live in the Phoenix Metro area
- Bachelor's degree in related field (years of experience may substitute for education)
- Experience and education in the field of Human Resources, recruitment, on-boarding, or a related field.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Satisfactory background check
- Ability to acquire a DPS fingerprint card.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Cultivate an environment of welcome and compassion to incoming employees
- Hire incoming employees and complete new employee file
- Ensure applicant meets requirements for employment
- Utilize applicant and employee tracking cloud-based software
- Inform applicants of training and pre-employment requirements
- Coordinate and schedule required training for applicants
- Complete reference and background checks on applicants
- Conduct frequent check-ins with applicants
- Provide ongoing support to applicants as they navigate the hiring process
- Schedule and host Welcome Meetings (employee orientation)
- Interpret and explain company policies and procedures
- Prepare and ensure new hire file is in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and evaluate applicant data
- Conduct follow up with new employees at 2 weeks and 6-8 weeks post hire
- Act as a liaison between Arion Care applicants and management teams
- Coordinate with HR Director and Hiring Supervisor to develop specific hiring plans to meet team needs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development as needed or required.
Follow all company and State policies and procedures including, but not limited to:- Reporting to work on time as scheduled.
- Refraining from excessive absenteeism.
- Obtaining prior approval for desired time off.
- Maintain company property and equipment.
- Maintain all records, logs, and other documentation as required by company and funding source policy and procedure.
- Maintain professional demeanor and protect confidentiality of member, staff, and agency information.
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The ability to lift items up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to exercise restraint and self-control in potentially high stress, challenging situations.
- The ability to drive to different locations

- Laptop and Multi-functional printer
- May require the use of personal vehicle.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job operates as a remote tele-work position, as Arion Care Solutions does not provide a separate workplace at a corporate location. Working from home requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to have a space dedicated to work in the home and provision for childcare if appropriate.
- The position of Employment Advisor will also require in-person meetings with employees to complete/sign required forms, and travel to different locations to hire new employees when needed.
