Arizona Industries for the Blind has one position available for a Warehouse/Delivery Person. The position is located at our Serv Mart at the Yuma Marine Corps Air Station.

Job description:

Summary:

The Senior Warehouse/Delivery Person, under general supervision of the Store Manager, oversees the efficient receipt and delivery of a range of products, storage of products and the organization of the warehouse along with managing processes and systems to maintain high performance of the warehouse.

Key Duties:

· Engage to build relationships with our customers-military personnel to provide excellent customer service by inquiring about their needs, providing product information, providing quotes, and completing transactions at the Point of Sale.

· Provide a clean, neat, organized, safe, and appealing impression of the Base Supply Center.

· Full cycle of receiving product to include but not limited to:

o Verify and record the incoming shipments.

o Research overages/shortages and interact with vendors to rectify.

o Receive product into the computer system.

o Prepare Purchase Orders and invoices for accounting for payment.

o Label and stock product.

o Place product in storage in the warehouse per the storage plan.

o Issue product as appropriate.

· Monitor Purchase Orders (Pos) and Return to Vendor (RTV) product along with interaction with the vendors.

· Perform cycle counts.

· Follow-up on delayed incoming shipments.

· Monitor account receivables.

· Maintain customer invoices and delivery schedule.

· Prepare product and documents for outgoing shipments.

· Organizes the daily delivery schedule. Deliver product, which may be on or off the base, in a safe manner, on time with the product in good condition, as necessary.

· Track the delivery of product using the Daily Log of AIB Vehicle Travel.

· Maintains the delivery vehicle in good condition to include cleanliness, logs, and scheduled or unscheduled service.

· May work in the position of Customer Service Specialist.

· May be required to work overtime as necessary.

· Comply with the policies, procedures, and regulations of AIB.

· Perform other duties as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

· Minimum age of 18 years old.

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Must pass a nationwide background check and drug screening successfully.

· Possess a valid Arizona driver license with the acceptable Arizona Motor Vehicle Record.

· One (1) year of warehouse experience specifically receiving, storage, and inventory of product working in a safe and orderly manner.

· One (1) year of experience operating and maintaining warehouse equipment such as hand carts, pallet jacks and forklifts.

· Knowledge of basic shipping/receiving, document/recordkeeping and inventory control procedures is desired.

· Knowledge of military requirements and Base Supply system is desired.

· Ability to demonstrate positive interpersonal relationship skills in all facets of job.

· Ability to read, write, and speak English.

· Ability to operate a computer, peripheral equipment, and software related to the program.

· Ability to operate common office equipment.

· Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Working Conditions:

· This position is considered a safety sensitive position.

· Lift/transport items up to 40 pounds following safety guidelines.

· Occasionally required to use material handling equipment to lift/move material up to 100 pounds following safety guidelines.

· Grasping/feeling with your hands.

· Move/traverse for extended periods.

· Standing for extended periods.

· Repetitive body motions may include: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching/extending.

· Ascend/descend stairs, step stools, and ladders.

· Working in closely confined areas at times.

· Exposure to occasional change in noise levels.

· Exposure to change in temperature.
