ARISE is a 24-hour veterinary emergency and critical care (AVECCC) and specialty hospital in Queen Creek, AZ. We have the most skilled doctors in the state and provide significantly complex treatments in the western US. The teams in this department work closely with surgeons, oncologists, internists, radiologists, and a critical care team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. Job Summary:
  • With a growing veterinary hospital, the Brand Ambassador for ARISE’s responsibilities includes promoting our hospital’s brand with the pet-owning community and our referring veterinary community, creating content for ARISE’s social media platforms, and assist with online reputation projects. The Brand Ambassador will provide referral outreach with regular interaction with our pDVM community, with the goal of building meaningful value-added referral relationships.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Social Media & Website
  • Grow the ARISE social media platforms
  • Share regular patient success stories
  • Collaborate with the ARISE Leadership team to plan a content calendar and to identify any gaps in the social media accounts
  • Create unique posts to highlight our team, testimonials, special moments (i.e. staff birthdays, anniversaries)
  • Identify ways to increase our audience and reach through organic and paid placements
  • Ensure branding is clear and recognizable on all social media posts
  • Schedule regular educational content on our social media channels
  • Update website frequently to match the growth/changes of the hospital
    • Add specialty pages as new specialists join the team
    • Update “our team” page with photos and bios
  • Identify ways to enhance website usability and educational content
Online Reputation
  • Monitor ARISE reviews and online reputation
  • Respond to positive reviews in a meaningful way
  • Work with ARISE Leadership to craft appropriate responses to negative reviews
  • Write thank you emails to clients about their positive reviews and ask for permission to share on our social media
  • Identify and create "Testimonial Tuesday" posts for social media accounts
  • Create monthly reports with our online reputation summary for the leadership team to review
  • Work with Client Experience Manager to create plans for encouraging client reviews
Referral Outreach
  • Visit General Practice (GP) veterinary offices with the goal of building key referral relationships, deliver ARISE marketing materials, answer questions, and communicate important ARISE announcements
    • Visits are to offices all over the Phoenix Valley, Tucson, and outlying areas
    • This will require use of personal vehicle and will be reimbursed mileage
  • Record visit notes weekly and turn into the Hospital Director
  • Regular reporting with Hospital Director to discuss visit interaction and notes
  • Take initiative to lead projects that increase ARISE awareness and referrals
  • Ensure brand awareness inventory is well stocked and that the collateral information is current and ready to deliver to GP offices
  • Clearly communicate issues and opportunities from pDVM visits to ARISE Leadership Team
  • Assist pDVM community in accessing our records portal.
  • Plan strategic thank you gifts and food deliverables designed to build our referral relationships
  • Maintains GP contact information in databases
  • Troubleshoots any glitches or concerns from GPs about medical record portal access
Community Outreach
  • Identify pet-friendly events and education opportunities
    • Plan, secure, and promote events
    • Coordinate and oversee volunteers
  • Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce Representative
  • Advertise and create brand awareness to the pet owner community
    • Look for creative advertising opportunities
  • Media Liaison/Press Release Communications
    • Create newsworthy pieces to share with local media
    • Partner with Queen Creek Tribune and other local outlets
Project Management
  • Continuing Education Program Management
    • Seek appropriate CE accreditation
    • Create CE flyers and social media announcements
    • Coordinate speakers and topics
    • Manage invitations and RSVPs
  • Assist in promoting Vet Care Foundation and identify ways to build this fund at all locations
  • Assist Hospital Director with extra projects as assigned
  • Informs ARISE Leadership Team of project progression
  • Stays on task and completes the task on time
Recruiting Assistance
  • Work with HR and hospital leadership to create recruitment flyers and social media posts
  • Coordinate and attend veterinary job fairs and conferences
    • Secure booth space
    • Order supplies and SWAG
    • Create handouts
Team
  • Participates in Team meetings as necessary to:
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure consistent messages are being provided
  • Develop a cohesive relationship with members of leadership team
  • Communicates directly with the ARISE team updates or changes
  • Adherence to governing agency regulations.
  • Establishes and reinforces a supportive team environment with all team members.
  • Resolves pDVM, client, and team member needs, concerns, and complaints.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
  • Other projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Computer proficiency (required)
  • One year of experience in a marketing position or currently pursuing a marketing degree (required)
  • Marketing experience in the veterinary field (preferred)
  • Manage time and tasks appropriately and remain flexible with assigned duties
  • Reporting and data analysis skills
  • Problem solving and resolution management skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office suite; veterinary practice management software knowledge preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with staff and clients, and works well in a team environment
  • Customer service strategies and effective marketing techniques
  • Model a professional and courteous manner and appearance
