  • Create and sustain partnerships with community organizations that help guide the community to create sustainable changes that align with AZ Health Zone strategies.
  • Create and manage programming that supports various Pinal County Community Recreation Centers and Out of School Youth programs. Programs include physical activity and nutrition approved curricula to qualify communities and sites.
  • Develop community outreach to promote health, nutrition and physical activity education programs to potential partners and participants of the Pinal Healthy & Active App.
  • Developing and dissemination nutrition and physical activity resources, education materials, newsletters and social media marketing materials that align with AZ Health Zone strategies. 
  • Comply with University of Arizona, Extension, grant funding agency (Arizona Department of Health Services, etc.) and community partners' policies, procedures and requirement. Implement AZ Health Zone programming and evaluation in accordance with program plans and guidance documents to ensure fidelity and any reporting needed from the institutions.
