Supervise team and program activities in the South Phoenix area. This includes:
- Supervising daily activities for 4 or 5 subordinates
- Coordinating and collaborate with leadership team
- Conducting community engagement in order to create a community-led work plan
- Overseeing the implementation of program strategies and interventions (grant approved Work Plan)
- Networking and developing partnerships with local community members, organizations and other stakeholders
- Attending and leading program meetings related to the South Phoenix community
- Creating written reports.
Lead Childhood Systems team, which works in schools, after school programs, and some early childcare sites. This includes:
- Offering guidance, trainings, and updates
- Attending and leading program meetings related to Childhood Systems.
Work with community members, organizations, businesses, and other collaborators to implement specific strategies in the area of Childhood Systems. This includes:
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of policies in schools, after school programs, and some early care sites
- Supporting improvements in nutrition and physical activity practices
- Establishing wellness committees
- Providing staff development
- Working with food administrators on Farm to School Program
- Planning school gardens
Data collecting for research and grant needs, and reporting.
