What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Coordinator position at Arkansas Portable Toilets?
Job Summary:
The Yard Staff clean and ensure the units and trucks are appropriately prepared for delivery and returned to stock in good, working condition.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Unload/Load units onto trucks for distribution or return to yard.
- Stock trucks with supplies.
- Clean units and trucks preparing for delivery or before returning to yard.
- Ensure units returned to yard are in good, working condition, including brand stickers and all repairs.
- Empty holding tanks, including clean and disinfect areas affected by sewer or septic.
- Ensure yard and facility are clean (no rivets, trash, etc.), organized, and secured before leaving.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Follow all established safety and operation procedures and processes for assigned duties. (example – brand stickers, PPE, & ride-a-longs, etc.)
- Weekend & evening hours, required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
- Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions.
- Exposure to strong odors.
- Must be able 75 pounds at a time.
