JOB SUMMARY:
Arnold & Arnold, LLP is seeking a full-time Paralegal to become a part of our growing team! Statewide-practice in real estate, construction law, estate planning and administration, probate, civil and business litigation, and collections. Paralegal will be responsible for working directly with partners, attorneys, and support staff to ensure that all matters are handled in an efficient and professional manner.
Prior real estate, title, or litigation experience a plus. This paralegal position will assist the attorneys in the research and preparation of mechanic's liens, foreclosures (including Public Trustee Foreclosures), real estate documents, and title review. Research and prepare bond claims and verified claims. Track and docket deadlines. Draft letters. Prepare and erecord real estate documents. Prepare and efile Court pleadings to initiate actions. Assist litigation paralegals with overflow work in document review and disclosure preparation in litigation.
We will train you in research methods and procedures for mechanic's lien preparation. Hybrid work arrangements available once training is complete.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings.
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents.
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation, and resolution of legal disputes through mediation, arbitration, and court.
- Assist with preparing, e-recording, e-filing, and serving legal documents.
- Record and store client information.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients.
- Conduct client intake on new matters.
- Conduct research to ensure precise identification of parties, docketing, and maintenance of all case-related deadlines.
- Handle preparation and finalization of motions and other legal documents.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a paralegal or other real estate field.
- Familiarity with legal research, electronic filing of legal documents, and electronic file management.
- Ability to prioritize, track deadlines, and multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, opposing parties, counsel, public agencies, and courts.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Strong critical thinking skills coupled and creative mindset for problem solving.
- 2-5 years of experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
