WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
An experienced and enthusiastic leader to own and plan inventory and margin planning, reporting, and forecasting for Merchandising in our Retail B&M and E-Com channels helping to maximize the company financial goals and values.
This role will focus all planning, analysis, and reporting activities around driving profitable top line sales and is responsible for executing timely and accurate analysis to assist the teams in making better business decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Annual Planning Process (Build the Financial Plan)
· Collaborate with respective buying team to develop annual sales, receipt, markdown and inventory plans by department and category
· Develop historical analysis (team, classification, vendor, player, etc.) to assist with the pre-season planning activities
· Establish sales targets that align with corporate strategies and historical performance
Assortment Planning/ Pre-Book Process (Help Develop the Merchandise Assortment)
· Provide key analysis to improve the assortment planning decision-making process
· Reporting and Analysis (Identify key trends, hot sellers, poor performers)
· Analyze key business trends daily/ weekly and develop recommendations to drive profitable top line sales
Inventory Management
· Oversee inventory management to include sales trends, inventory levels and on order
· Effectively communicate and present to peers & leadership the insights and action plans tied to the in-season merchandise management by category and SKU
· Manage promotional cadence and align B&M and Digital strategies
· Identify potential sales opportunities (macro and item level)
Weekly/ Monthly Forecasting Process
· Responsible for driving the monthly forecast process with the respective merchandising team
· Intense focus on data integrity and report accuracy
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
· You will report to Senior Management. This role will heavily collaborate across the Digital and Retail teams to drive & optimize the current business
· Partner with Analytics to create reporting & tools to provide visibility and improve operational performance
· Merchandise collaboration to include reporting and analysis, monthly forecast process to identify key business opportunity- sales first focus

· Bachelor’s degree or an additional 2 years of experience in lieu of a degree
· 5 years of retail buying required
