Ability to complete work in the given time with precision and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate with healthcare system and pharmacy staff. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Prioritization and problem-solving skills. Ability to respond quickly to urgent requests. The ability to communicate effectively. Capable of assisting with the pharmacy care needs of a wide range of patient populations and the general public.
Job Description
Array Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Decatur, TX. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and other pharmacy staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
- Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer and with Microsoft Office programs.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude, and be able to work as part of a team.
- Must have the ability to deal effectively with stressful situations.
- Must possess the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must have the ability to learn new skills as necessary.
- Current active state pharmacy technician license in accordance with all applicable state laws and regulations.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Filing patient prescriptions and other medical documentation in appropriate areas of the electronic medical record system.
- Preparing, packaging, labeling and dispensed medications according to patient orders in the electronic medical record system.
- Processes patient refills accurately and efficiently using standard operating procedures as directed by your supervisor.
