We are seeking a skilled solar installer to join our team. As a solar installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar panel systems. Your role will involve working on rooftops and other elevated areas to ensure the proper placement and function of solar panels. If you have experience in electrical work, are comfortable working at heights, and have a passion for renewable energy, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on rooftops and other structures following established safety guidelines
- Perform electrical wiring and connect solar panels to inverters and electrical systems
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal panel placement and ensure structural integrity
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation projects
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with solar panel systems
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities and materials used
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working at heights
Requirements:
- Previous experience in electrical work or solar panel installation is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment commonly used in solar installation
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
