Position Highlight

- Compensation: $15/hour, with pay increases as you progress in the role
- Additional Perks: Fluent French or Spanish speakers may qualify for a higher rate
Responsibilities
As an Contact Center Agent, you will be trained to handle both Outbound and Inbound calling. You will also complete a variety of tasks including:
- Completing outbound calls for various promotions
- Assisting customers with web/phone orders, program registration, and order/rebate inquiries
- Providing product information
- Addressing general customer service inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- The ability to speak on the phone in a pleasant and professional manner
- Follow auditing rules as trained and accurately enter all data into the computer while communicating with contacts over the phone
- Consult additional program materials and utilize all resources as needed
- Meet performance goals established for each program that you work and the contact center overall. This will include calls per hour, yes per hour, attendance, quality, etc.
- Ensure time tracking for each promotion is complete and correct for accurate client billing.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks from other departments as directed by your supervisor
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate in your work
- Ability to multitask and support other departments as needed
- Use of good grammar and strong writing skills
- Typing speed of 25-30 WPM
- Capability to handle 40-60 calls per day with efficiency
- Ability to be available for taking calls for 80% of your day.
- Proficiency in basic computer knowledge and skills
- Tactful handling and de-escalation of stressful situations
- Adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Adherence to policies and confidentiality requirements regarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
- Consistent attendance record
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination
Shift Requirements
Our current needs include the following shifts:
Inbound Calling:
- 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday (if you work Saturday you will receive 1 day off during the week)
- Saturday shifts receive an additional $1/hour shift pay
Outbound Calling:
- 7am-5pm, Monday - Friday
Remote Work
- Remote work is available for candidates who have their own work station set up in accordance with our system requirements.
