supervision. They execute work within established procedures and process under both verbal and written instructions. |
Responsibilities (or Duties):
Does routine preventive maintenance and ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently. Diagnosing and maintaining mechanical systems, equipment and controls is essential.
Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as blow molders and presses. Replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors and positions sensing devices.
Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards. Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts and assemble new equipment.
Note: Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
High School or GED
Minimum of one to three years maintenance technician experience.

Identify and record problems relating to the product, process and quality system
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
