What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Project Manager position at ARRS?
Under the direction of the Director of Education, the Education Project Manager is responsible for assigned programs and projects, management of aspects of the eLearning portfolio, and management of programs that fall under the ARRS Annual Meeting. The Project Manager works closely with the Director and the Education team members on the program planning process and on individual program development and implementation. The Project Manager provides leadership by serving as the staff liaison to the member-led committees that correspond with the position’s respective programs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- · Assists in the development and implementation of content for live in person and live virtual educational meetings and programs.
- · Works with committees to collect and organize faculty, topics and course information online, including data input, and sending correspondence.
- · Requests and tracks all required paperwork from faculty and speakers.
- · Assists with implementation of accreditation requirements for development and execution of annual meetings and other educational programs, and CME/evaluation criteria.
- · Manages product life-cycle of assigned programs and corresponding enduring material.
- · Responds to members’ queries concerning education products, CME credits and transcripts, meetings, registration, and membership.
- · Responds to technical support questions regarding the Learning Management System and meetings.
- · Other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience
Successful candidates will have demonstrated project management and communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders. This position typically requires a bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years experience developing and delivering educational programs and products in a professional healthcare association. Some travel required.
