Junior Attorney

Our growing firm is seeking a well-qualified litigation attorney who can handle their own caseload, work independently, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. To be considered, you should have solid discovery, motion, trial preparation and trial experience.

Your excellent communication and drafting skills will come in handy as you assist our attorneys in thoughtfully positioning clients toward favorable outcomes. Responsibilities

· Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws

· Prepare for and conduct trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients

· Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions

· Draft legal documents, such as pleadings and discovery requests and responses

· Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs

Qualifications

· Must be able to handle your own caseload with little supervision

· 0-3 years of experience working as a Junior associate attorney

· Previous experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration

· Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills

Compensation

$90,000 - $120,000 (based on experience & bonuses)
