What are the responsibilities and job description for the Theater Instructor position at Arts in CT?
Arts in CT is looking for a passionate and creative Improv Theater Instructor in the Bristol area to teach to children up to Grade 5-12.
As an Improv instructor, you are required to have excellent communication skills and can create a positive and fun learning environment and experience for all students. Students are expected to learn and practice quick thinking, improvisational techniques, how to act on impulse and think fast so they can come out and play on stage with confidence.
Qualifications:
- At least five years experience in improvisation, comedy, theatre
- Ability to provide positive, supportive & constructive feedback to students
- Professional and friendly demeanor
You must have at least 5 yrs experience in teaching theater and children.
