What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at Arvato Digital Services LLC?
The Human Resource Generalist will support site operations and the business leaders. They will be responsible for providing administrative and strategic support and coordinating HR and employment-related activities for the assigned business unit. They will help with the coordination of orientation and training sessions for new employees. Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries.
Your Tasks
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity
- Serves as an important resource to the business unit in the interpretation of human resources policy and procedures, legal compliance, employment law, etc.
- Supports the recruitment and staffing functions within the business unit and provides core customer service and administrative support to clients and employees with general human resources, benefits, employment, and payroll questions
- Reviews, verifies and processes all new hire paperwork for accuracy and completeness, including coordinating and verifying benefits enrollment
- Help with the coordination of orientation and training sessions for new employees.
- Completes other projects/tasks as assigned by HR Manager
Schedule or Shift: Day Shift; overtime as needed
Travel Requirements: Minimal – will travel to other sites as needed
Your Profile
- 2 years of previous experience as an HR Generalist, Talent Acquisitions Specialist, or HR Coordinator in a warehouse/distribution/logistics environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field or equivalent experience
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- 3 years of reporting, timekeeping and payroll system experience (Ultipro and Kronos a plus)
- Communicating professionally with individuals – operations, business leaders, peers, etc.
- Agile thinking is a plus
- The ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time in an office/warehouse environment
Ability to Commute or Relocate/Location Address: The Greater Louisville, KY Metropolitan area (includes Shepherdsville)
