Position Summary
This position is responsible for leading the security function to all of Arvato’s locations within the United States.
Position Responsibilities
Develop a strategy for the security function at Arvato SCS and make and implement recommendations to optimize structure, systems and programs geared toward assuring the safe operation of our business
Develop, document and implement standards for security personnel and other third party suppliers engaged in providing security services
Understand and implement TAPA and client requirements
Consult with other departments such as IT, Logistics Engineering, etc. in the (security) design of new facilities
Partner with Site Operations, Compliance, Trade & FTZ, IT and other functions to develop and document standardized security policies to ensure operational success
Regularly perform site inspections, and conduct threat and risk assessments to determine the facilities compliance with physical and system security requirement, related processes, safety regulations, and site protocols, to ensure the company objectives can be met
Develop corrective actions to ensure mitigation of identified risks and monitor execution
Contribute to the physical security development with respect to facility security infrastructure, growth plan, and installation of appropriate security equipment
Build and implement comprehensive strategies for senior management to build visibility around incident and surveillance reporting
Manage on-site physical security vendor relationship and vendor performance (by enforcing scope of work)
Coordinate closely with security experts and system vendors for general maintenance of security systems
Investigate all security incidents and violations, document findings and develop corrective action plans
Stay up-to-date with security industry practices, trends and technologies and recommend initiatives to enhance the security profile of our operations.

Job requirements
At least 5-8 years of experience in Security, Public Safety, law enforcement or related field required
A 4 year degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Preparedness, Business Management with Security Focus preferred
Strong knowledge of Security and Safety procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willing to travel to each US facility and provide support to team members
