Position is based at 201 NE A Street, Bentonville, AR 72712. Position requires availability Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.

Job Title: Community Marketing Specialist
Under the general direction of the assigned manager, the Community Marketing Specialist provides assistance to the local Bank in executing sales, marketing, public relations, events, sponsorships, and community engagement programs, primarily by leveraging Central and Divisional materials and platforms.

What You’ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Work with the manager to help implement the annual key performance indicators (KPIs), sales plan, public relations, community involvement, and sponsorships for the local Bank. Growth objectives should include current bank objectives such as commercial and business as well as consumer retail. Consumer growth objectives will be achieved primarily through national marketing and advertising initiatives and would be supported by community engagement and branch-level efforts. Help local teams establish goals and performance measurement reporting, including board reports.
Support the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) efforts of the local bank by gathering CRA documentation and assisting with CRA-qualified events. Maintain accurate and time-sensitive records of all bank giving, including service hours.
Ensure that compliance requirements are achieved for local marketing efforts. This includes ensuring that all local marketing efforts and materials have received proper compliance approval or have been acquired through the appropriate system. Ensure that local marketing materials, not tracked automatically within the system are reported and tracked as required. Support the execution of Branch merchandise & compliance audits.
Support the manager in the oversight of the local marketing budget by reviewing and researching/auditing monthly financial reports. Follow all guidelines associated with new vendor set-up and management. Code and submit invoices in a timely manner. May direct community bank budgets as directed by the Community Marketing Manager.
As delegated by the local manager, meet with Lines of Business to communicate programs, and gather input to facilitate and provide appropriate communication and budget needs.
Effectively manage multiple projects, community events, and deadlines. Support, organize, and conduct bank-sponsored events at a community level, including securing venues, obtaining Compliance approval, requesting marketing materials, recruiting volunteers, working with local vendors, and managing event budgets. Coordinate the local bank efforts in bank-wide promotions. May manage the local market internal community web page.
Engage regularly with the Arvest Social Media team to provide social media content opportunities relevant to the local market as delegated by the local Work with all other Centralized Marketing support roles to facilitate requests on behalf of the local community market.
Be an ambassador of the Arvest culture by facilitating sales rallies, sales and service awards, spirit weeks, and other local bank internal events, as determined by local management. Coordinate with appropriate members of the sales team to ensure successful event execution.
Gather information for use in public relations and social media. Collect target audience, messaging, photos (and releases), and bios. Schedule photographs for associates as needed. Ensure that all associate photos used for advertising meet the Arvest Photography Guidelines. Verify with the manager that the publicity waiver for the associate has been signed. Utilize the request platform to process all job requests.
Order and distribute printed materials for branches and lines of business. Utilize various platforms to request marketing materials, including items from the Advertising Catalog and custom requests. Manage local market digital advertising marquees, lobby screens, and on-hold phone messaging. Work with managers to ensure updated and accurate branch merchandising which aligns with the corporate brand standard. Order printed marketing assets and other items through designated centralized marketing platforms or through local vendors as needed.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

May directly supervisor 1 or more associates as assigned by the manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related discipline, or related experience required.
At least 2 years of marketing, sales management, or public relations experience required.
Strong verbal and written skills required.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and completing projects on time and budget required.
Strong judgment and ability to remain agile in a fast-moving environment with rapidly shifting priorities required.
Experience in Local Bank Marketing, sales management, or public relations preferred.
Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
Physical Demands:
