Engineering Technician

Position Summary

As an Engineering Technician you will be responsible to design maps, determine material needed for project, estimate project costs, monitor and verify specifications, and determine necessary permits and/or easements required.

Qualifications

You are required to have:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with mapping software such as Elations by Innovative Systems or other mapping software
• Minimum of 2 years of experience producing or reading construction sheets and maps
• Knowledge of construction sheets, maps, and utility concepts as it related to telecom engineering and construction
• Intermediate proficiency with computer operations, applications, internet, Excel and Word
• Valid Class D Driver's License with acceptable driver rating

Additional preferred qualifications: 

• Associate's degree in Telecommunications or related field
• Experience estimating project costs and easements

Schedule

Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Location

This position will be located in Melrose, MN.
