What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRNA position at Ascend Medical?
Good afternoon.
Krista Dunn here, from Ascend Med. I have multiple locum opportunities for CRNAs in North Carolina. I must fill 7 days between December 18 and January 3. These are full day shifts, and half of those days require call. Please see the details below:
Multiple Locum CRNAs needed in SE North Carolina
- Location: Sampson County, NC
- Dates & ShiftsNeeded:
- 12/18/22 7a-3p & Call
- 12/26/22 7a-3p & Call
- 12/27/22 7a-3p
- 12/28/22 7a-3p & Call
- 12/29/22 7a-3p
- 12/30/22 7a-3p
- 1/3/23 7a-3p
- Call coverage is 3pm-7am, with 15 minute response required
- Skills to be Performed: administers intravenous, general and regional anesthetics (regional experience preferred but not required) to render patients insensible to pain during surgical procedures and in obstetric deliveries or other medical procedures. Cases CRNAs will be handling include: General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Gynecological, C-Sections, and Optometry
- Requirements:
- Minimum of at least 3 years’ experience preferred, with clean DEA
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current unencumbered North Carolina RN license
- Current certification as a CRNA.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- Current BCLS and ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification Preferred
- Regional Skills Preferred – Not required
- Support Staff: Full Anesthesia Team; MDA covers 24/7
- Case Mix: Ortho, Urology, Gen Surg, OBGYN
- Lodging: provided in newly renovated hospital owned apartments (WiFi and Cable included)where locums stay during their assignments.; meal passes provided
- Travel: provided, but limited to $500
- Malpractice insurance is provided
- Rate: Give me your best rate
- Covid vaccines required, or proof of religious/medical exemption
