Fitter Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
- Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project
- Source the materials to be used in the project
- Measure and cut materials to specifications
- Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
Fitter Shift Info
- Night Shift, 04:00 pm to 02:30 am
- Monday – Thursday (Some Fridays as needed)
Fitter Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
- Knowledge of welding
- Proven experience as fitter
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Deftness and attention to detail
- Proficient in English
- Able to pass a drug test
- Able to work in the US
