Salary: $80k - 90k per year Bonus Reference: 169489-RS
Seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to join a growing team in Miami. You will be responsible for analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of our commercial clients. You will work closely with our relationship managers to evaluate credit applications and provide recommendations on credit decisions. You will also monitor existing credit relationships to ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess credit applications from individuals, businesses, and corporations, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations
Review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, tax returns and other financial data to determine the creditworthiness of loan applicants
Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to minimize credit losses
Conduct in-depth analysis of customer financial information and credit reports to establish credit limits and terms
Maintain accurate records of credit assessments, reports, and recommendations
Interact with clients and stakeholders to gather additional information or to explain the bank's policies and procedures regarding credit products
Monitor credit risk exposure and provide regular credit risk management reports to the management and stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or accounting
2 years of experience in a credit analysis role in the banking, financial services, or related industry
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Firm understanding of financial analysis and financial statement interpretation
Experience dealing with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other financial analysis tools
