Job Description
Our client is looking for a Rockwell MES Consultant for a 6 mo to 1 year contract:
Must Have Experience / Skills:
- Experience implementing MES (Manufacturing Execution System) in automotive industry domain / discrete manufacturing
- MES System design
- Hands-on knowledge and experience on Rockwell FTPC, Pnuts
- Atleast two FTPC implementations
- Hands-on experience in Java, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures
- Good knowledge of Industrial Automation protocols like OPC-DA / UA, Modbus
- Experience in integrating MES to ERP systems like SAP
- Good documentation skills
Good to have experience / skills:
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation standards like ISA95
- Prior consulting experience (MES)
- UAT (User acceptance Testing) and plant rollouts
Responsibilities:
- MES-System Design, Project Execution with best practices
- Overall responsibilities will include reverse engineering the existing implementation of Rockwell FTPC application and document the implemented use case, system design, application design
- Development, Enhancement of existing Rockwell FTPC application.
- Conduct UAT, rollout and test / validate functionalities
