What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Ascension?
Job Preference - Skills, Education and Experience:
Customer service
Gift shop sales experience
Cash register experience
Display setup experience
Receiving/inventory experience
HS diploma

Work Schedule
Monday through Friday days (26 hours)
26 hours spread over 5 days
4-5 hours per day
9:30 - 2:30 pm 4 days/week
10-2pm 1 day /week
What You Will Do
Receive and disburse money for services.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit card and debit card and issue receipts, change, credits or refunds to customers.
- Operate cash registers and ensure accurate and efficient accounts of all transactions.
- Balance cash receipts and count cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure correct balance.
- In retail setting, assist with the receiving, unpacking, stocking, displaying, pricing, and sales of merchandise.
- Maintain clean and organized checkout area.
What You Will Need
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
