We are hiring a Demand Management Manager!

The Demand Management Manager is responsible for managing the team of Demand Analysts responsible for facilitating and coordinating Ascension Technologies centralized demand management processes. The demand analysts are the primary AT liaison to the requesting business channel and responsible for ensuring process compliance and timely completion of process steps. The Demand Management Manager will be consulted throughout the various stages of the demand management process and will assist in gathering the necessary information to fully qualify and plan for the execution of the request.
What You Will Do:
Manage administration and maintenance of assigned information systems, function(s) and/or resources.

  • Responsible for managing the demand management processes.
  • Upholds integrity of incoming demand.
  • Primary communicator of demand management process
  • Works closely with resources who submit demand.
  • Manages volume of incoming demand and prioritizes appropriately.
  • Manages qualification throughput.
  • Responds to questions throughout the qualification process.
  • Supports the Intake Manager and Qualification Manager
  • Coordinates estimations communications, including those to other departments, business partners, vendors, and outside agencies.
  • Responsible for completion of estimation tool.
  • Acts as a liaison with other process teams.
  • Maintains knowledge of estimation tool and identifies improvements
  • Secures necessary information & artifacts required to qualify the request.
  • Ensures the business owner and stakeholders are kept up-to-date on the request status.
  • Should the request need to go back to the business owner or vetting council for reapproval the Demand Management Manager would facilitate that step.
  • Supports the Demand Planning team in the forecasting and planning of the request.
  • Provides oversight of the Demand throughout the Demand lifecycle.
  • Manage assignments for installations, conversions and upgrades, and develop implementation plans that ensure minimal impact on end users.
  • Collaborate on needs analysis for customer service, upgrades or changes to systems. Recommend cost-effective hardware/software solutions.
  • Hire, train and manage assigned staff.
  • Manage multiple projects, often through subordinate project managers.
  • Ensure resources and organization structure are in place and operating effectively; and anticipate conflicting needs and proactively resolve them.
  • Direct, develop, and present to management various analyses that include organization, systems, feasibility and cost/benefit studies, implementation plans.
  • Exercise judgment and influence on key technical decisions, standards, policies, environment selection, architecture, data flows and technical solutions.
What You Will Need:
Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 5 years of experience preferred.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred
Additional Preferences:
  • BS in IT or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • 3 years people management experience
  • Knowledge of (demand management, project estimation and planning
  • Operational familiarity with IT services and experience interacting with vendors as it relates to planning and estimating the delivery of such services
  • Healthcare provider industry experience is preferred
