Responsibilities

Participate in fundraising campaigns, grant administration, major gift and/or charitable development programs.

  • Assist with fundraising campaigns including budgets and timelines. Coordinate the creative process, file selection, production and mailing, and the acknowledgement process.
  • Support strategy to train staff on marketing campaigns, soliciting donors, and defining levels of giving and benefits. Create printed materials and updates databases and websites with campaign program information.
  • Implement donor relations/recognition activities. Develop donor confidence and relationships through effective gift solicitation, processing and acknowledgement.
  • Support the development and implementation of tracking strategies for solicitation efforts and perform analysis of data for results.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certification specializing in Fund Raising credentialed from the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) International preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

 

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience and success with a minimum of one year experience.
    • Prior donor research experience preferred.
    • Previous experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT or other donor database preferred.
    • Ability to set goals strategically and oversee execution.
    • High level of discretion and ethical approach to work.
    • Proven ability to interact with and develop positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with various internal and external constituents.
    • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in donor database (Raiser’s Edge/NXT preferred), G-Suite, and other computer skills as required.
    • Valid driver's license and insurance for out-of-office travel as required by the position.
