Responsibilities
Participate in fundraising campaigns, grant administration, major gift and/or charitable development programs.
- Assist with fundraising campaigns including budgets and timelines. Coordinate the creative process, file selection, production and mailing, and the acknowledgement process.
- Support strategy to train staff on marketing campaigns, soliciting donors, and defining levels of giving and benefits. Create printed materials and updates databases and websites with campaign program information.
- Implement donor relations/recognition activities. Develop donor confidence and relationships through effective gift solicitation, processing and acknowledgement.
- Support the development and implementation of tracking strategies for solicitation efforts and perform analysis of data for results.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Certification specializing in Fund Raising credentialed from the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) International preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience and success with a minimum of one year experience.
- Prior donor research experience preferred.
- Previous experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT or other donor database preferred.
- Ability to set goals strategically and oversee execution.
- High level of discretion and ethical approach to work.
- Proven ability to interact with and develop positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various internal and external constituents.
- Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in donor database (Raiser’s Edge/NXT preferred), G-Suite, and other computer skills as required.
- Valid driver's license and insurance for out-of-office travel as required by the position.
