Perform basic diagnostic sleep studies consistent with training level.

• Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing.
• Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issue and to explain testing procedures.
• Perform and document testing.
• Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient need or equipment issues consistent with training level.
• Collect, analyze and integrate patient information under appropriate supervision to identify and meet
  patient-specific needs.
• As skillset advances student will score, interpret and report result of sleep studies.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing.
• Report needed repairs/replacements.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Enrolled in program specific to discipline required.
