Ascension St. Vincent's Blount, the only hospital in Blount County, is a 40-bed general medical and surgical hospital located in Oneonta, AL.  At this facility, they offer Transitional Care, a skilled nursing rehab program designed to provide you with compassionate sub-acute care and physical rehabilitation when you have been in the hospital but are not yet well enough to go home. 

This is a small hospital in the rural community. It’s part of the largest faith based, not for profit hospital in Alabama. Excellent medical and surgical service line, excellent staff that love caring for those within their community

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
