Responsibilities
#AscensionTechnologies is looking for a Pharmacy Informaticist to join our Michigan or Indiana teams!
Design, document, maintain and implement pharmacy information solutions.
- Collaborate on development and maintenance of pharmacy system standards.
- Assist users with the evaluation and selection of departmental applications, hardware and software.
- Serve as a project leader and liaison between designated departments and groups for implementation and support of fully integrated clinical systems.
- Continually improve work procedures and processes for unit(s) managed by working with technology professionals and managers to analyze system problems and develop solutions.
- Collaborate on documentation of information system policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain test plans for designated management systems.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date is required.
- Licensure specific to state in which work is performed required.
- CSR-Prescriptive Authority preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
• 3 years of experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
- Prior experience with Allscripts/Altera's EHR Sunrise Clinical Manager - Pharmacy Module.
