JOB DESCRIPTION
The Head of Growth will be a thought leader in performance marketing and in enabling the data driven growth of software businesses. You will serve as an invaluable resource to both Operating Company leadership and ASG’s corporate development team while leveraging your expertise to grow revenue and identify opportunities in deals. You will work cross functionally across the entire ASG business to advance our growth marketing strategy, and execute excellent marketing programs that drive results.
This is an exempt position that reports directly to ASG’s Chief Executive Officer.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will:
- Define opportunities in the ASG portfolio for improvement of SEM and digital marketing.
- Drive best practices and data driven initiatives within the portfolio both through a network of independent contractors and using Operating Company resources.
- Be a deal resource in evaluating marketing efficiency and opportunities in new acquisitions.
- Mentor and coach Operating Company marketing teams to grow revenue.
- Utilize/build a network of freelancers to leverage tactical marketing efforts inside our Operating Companies.
- Be a thought partner to the ASG team on growth initiatives.

- A deep background in performance marketing and marketing analytics.
- A strong understanding of multi-touch attribution.
- The ability to get a team of freelancers to wire up attribution models.
- 5 years of expertise in content-driven SEO.
- 5 years of expertise in technical SEO.
- A strong ability to audit existing marketing strategies and offer actionable recommendations.
- Ability to manage key third party vendors, and drive meaningful cost savings.
- Track record of identifying and deploying vetted agencies to increase paid marketing ROAS - and expand paid marketing spend.
- Experience building a best in class marketing technology stack.
- Deployed independent resources to build content strategies and unlock content marketing opportunities.
- A highly analytical mindset and ability to build effective partnerships with analytics resources to build, measure, and drive insights from performance dashboards.
- Linked multiple channels together holistically and in a data-driven fashion to unlock new growth vectors across multiple organizations.
- Successfully mentored and trained junior performance marketing talent how to be effective with SEO and SEM.
