We are the exclusive distributor of our House Brands: Ooze, King Palm wraps, Truweigh scales, Green Monkey Grinders, Loud Lock packaging, and Stache products, and our catalog offers thousands of products from leading industry brands as well as up-and-coming brands. We have made the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies the past two years, and have recently renovated and expanded our Headquarters in Oak Park, MI. We have a brand-new front office and showroom to accommodate our growing team and have more than tripled our warehouse space as we continue to add items to our catalog and bring new products to market.
As a Wholesale Sales Manager for Cannatron, you will share our enthusiasm about the opportunity to apply your sales expertise in a unique, emerging, and explosive industry. You will play a critical role on a dynamic, fast paced team focused on developing Dispensary and Processor customers as well as uncover unique ways to expand and develop new business. You will be assigned an existing book of customers as well as qualified leads for new customer conversion. Our ideal candidate will be hungry to succeed with the ability to navigate through a challenging and sometimes restrictive landscape.
This position will work in-house at our Headquarters in Oak Park, MI and will include travel. Fully remote work is not available
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages consistent growth within assigned customer base for dispensaries, processors, and other cannabis related businesses.- Makes and develops contacts with assigned customers and strategic partners.
- Maintains and develops customer relations for new and larger established existing clients, assuring all existing clients are contacted regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and develop need-based marketing relations.
- Manages creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
- Develops customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, research, warm calls, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service.
- Pursue new sales opportunities through inbound leads follow up and outbound warm calls and emails.
- Research accounts, identifies key players and generates interest
- Gains and retains extensive product selection application knowledge as well as detailed comprehension of customer's requirements.
- Remain up to date with industry trends and regulations.
- Assist in trade shows, expos, and promotional events
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of proven success in Sales/Account management
- Experience working with ERP/CRM systems
- Excellent phone and people skills
- General Knowledge of Cannabis industry including concentrates, oils, pod systems, and vape technologies – beneficial
- PC skills-MS Word, Excel, PP, etc.
